Winter has arrived in the Andes! Valle Nevado, one of South America’s top ski destination, will be the first ski resort in Chile to open for the 2025 season. Lifts start spinning on Friday, June 13, a full week ahead of schedule, thanks to over a foot of early snowfall and a promising forecast that could deliver up to five more feet in the coming days.

At nearly 10,000 feet above sea level and just 90 minutes from Santiago, the high-elevation resort is uniquely positioned to catch early snowstorms, making it a reliable choice for skiers seeking an endless winter.

Over $3.4 Million in Upgrades for 2025

Ahead of opening day, Valle Nevado has invested more than $3.4 million USD in upgrades across the resort. Improvements include modernized lift infrastructure, expanded terrain offerings, hotel renovations, and new on-mountain amenities. These changes aim to enhance both the ski experience and guest comfort, positioning Valle Nevado as a top-tier international destination for the 2025 season.
