For the last few seasons WLDCT has been spinning at Mammoth Canyon Lodge every Friday and Saturday afternoon. After a day on the slopes you can ski and ride straight to Canyon Lodge, grab drinks at the bar, and join the party on the sundeck. If you’re not on the mountain that day you can still join the party, take the complimentary Village Gondola up to Canyon Lodge.
The weekend après parties will kick off for the ’24/’25 season Friday December 20th at 2pm and that truly is just the beginning of everything WLDCT has in store for Mammoth this season.
Which do you prefer Snowboarding or Skiing?
Snowboarding!
What is your favorite place you have ever skied/snowboarded?
Mammoth Mountain so far but I haven’t been to many resorts outside of California. I learned to snowboard here when I was a tiny child so Mammoth holds a very special place in my heart. I love the variety and the sheer size of the mountain. I haven’t been snowboarding in years (I know.. I know..), I’ve been driving up every weekend, planning and prepping for the party, so I’m usually busy working during the ski day and then driving back home right after. Hopefully I can get some runs in this season.
What is your go-to drink at après?
I keep it simple, usually Don Julio 1942 or Casamigos Cristalino on the rocks, sometimes a nice whiskey if I’m feeling spicy. I’ll also have a matcha for energy and focus about 30 minutes before jumping in the booth. I need to stay sharp because there’s a lot of moving parts and stuff happening at this party.
Best après party you’ve ever been to (other than your own)?
I’ve actually never been to any après party believe it or not. Everyone tells me about the legendary European parties and some of the Colorado ones, but I’ve only seen short clips on social media. Would love to check out some of the other parties sometime! When we started this party I didn’t have any reference so I just kind of started doing what I thought was cool and molded it musically in my vision and it really took off.
Any bucket list ski destination you haven’t gotten to yet?
Mt. Bachelor was always on my list as a kid. Colorado. I would love to go to Japan and Europe too.
Anything new and exciting coming up this season?
We’re finally starting a new nighttime après party called Night Shift on 12/14! It will be Saturday nights at Bar Sierra with guest dj’s all season long. Excited to finally add a new nightlife option for people in Mammoth. We’re also throwing an NYE party at Bar Sierra. I’ll be announcing more info on social media and my vip email list soon. I’m also finishing up Season 2 of WLDCT merch which will be a super limited run of premium hoodies, t-shirts, sweat pants, hats and a Canyon Après exclusive thermal I’m super stoked about.
